Volunteer Background Checks

We are honored to have such a wonderful parent community that partners with us so closely by helping with celebrations, festivals, and other activities. In an effort to keep everyone on campus as safe as possible, Great Hearts Texas has recently updated its policy to require a background check for anyone who will be volunteering on campus at any time throughout the year. Because the $5 fee associated with these checks across all Great Hearts Texas schools represents a considerable expense, our district leaders have asked parents to help by covering the cost themselves.

If you plan to volunteer on campus this year, please complete your background check and pay the $5 fee today. All parents must pass the background check in order to volunteer, so don’t wait until it’s too late! The background check must be completed once per school year. It is recommended to complete the check on a computer rather than a cell phone.
